Resources for Aboriginals
Many oil and gas operations are found on aboriginal lands, that have both cultural and traditional importance to aboriginal communities. Oil and gas companies take special care to involve and collaborate with aboriginal communities to maintain mutual relationships and develop business partnerships. Many oil and gas employers have policies in place to ensure partnerships with aboriginal communities are respected and followed. The oil and gas industry also has a number of initiatives and programs in place to nurture, provide education and training opportunities for the aboriginal workforce.
